Plate material: ceramic-tourmaline or titanium
Ceramic-tourmaline plates heat evenly and glide gently, which suits most hair and anyone who straightens often. Titanium plates heat faster and transfer heat more efficiently, which helps thick or coarse hair straighten in fewer passes.
Plate width
- 1 inch: the all-rounder for short to long hair and for curling with the iron — the 1-inch flat iron, Titanium Touch, Infrared + Ion and Curl.
- 1-1/4 inch: faster on long hair — Steam Fashion.
- 1-3/8 inch: widest, for long thick hair — Titanium Touch XL.
One special feature each

Choosing a temperature
Use the lowest heat that works: roughly 250 to 350°F for fine, coloured or damaged hair, 350 to 400°F for normal hair and up to 450°F only for thick, coarse hair. Always use a heat protectant.
