The first 48 hours
- Do not shampoo for 48 hours.
- Avoid tight ponytails, clips and hats that flatten the new curl.
- Skip heat styling for the first two days.
Washing and conditioning
Use a sulfate-free shampoo and a moisturizing conditioner. Detangle with a wide-tooth comb from the ends up, never a fine brush on wet curls.
Styling
Scrunch in a light curl cream or mousse, then air-dry or diffuse on low. Refresh day-two curls with a little water and your fingers.
Colour and perm
Wait at least a week between perm and colour services, and tell your stylist about any recent lightening.
