Yes. Keraspa describes Kera 2 as a formaldehyde-free formula that smooths the hair physically with Matrix Plus, a complex of cysteine amino acids that releases proteins sequentially, combined with babassu oil, wheat germ oil, carob and vitamin E. Keraspa states it reduces curl by up to 90% and lasts about five months. It is a professional service, used between Kera 1 shampoo and Kera 3 mask.
What should I wash my hair with after a keratin smoothing treatment?
Use a sulfate-free, salt-free shampoo and a conditioner that seals the cuticle. They smooth frizz, strengthen and add shine without changing the curl pattern the way a smoothing treatment does.
Which Keraspa shampoo is best for dry, damaged hair?
Choose the Instant Hair Therapy Rejuvenating Shampoo and Conditioner (called Repair by some distributors) if your hair is dry, dull and chemically treated: both use shea butter and hydrolyzed rice protein and are vegan and sulfate-free. Choose Replumping H.A. if your hair is dry and brittle or getting thinner, because its hyaluronic acid also hydrates the scalp.
