Fine hair
Fine hair goes flat at the root faster than it gets dry at the ends, so the risk is weighing it down.
Wash: Insight Volumizing Volume Up Shampoo, or Insight Daily Use Energizing Shampoo for everyday washing. Condition: the light Insight Daily Use Energizing Conditioner on the lengths only. Style: Insight Styling Volumizing Shaping Ecomousse at the root, Insight Mattifying Pomade for texture. Between washes: Insight Daily Use Bodifying Dry Shampoo.
Thick and coarse hair
Wash: Insight Anti-Frizz Hydrating Shampoo. Condition: Insight Anti-Frizz Hydrating Conditioner or, if the lengths feel rough, Insight Dry Hair Nourishing Conditioner. Smooth: Insight Oil Non Oil or Insight Liquid Crystals. Hold: Insight Extra Strong Hold Styling Gel or Insight Elastic Molding Wax.
Curly and wavy hair
Elasti-Curl is complete: Insight Elasti-Curl Pure Mild Shampoo, Insight Elasti-Curl Curly Hair Detangling Mask, Insight Elasti-Curl Leave-In Detangling Hair Milk, Insight Elasti-Curl Bouncy Curls Hair Oil and Insight Elasti-Curl Light Hold Fixative Hair Spray. For looser beach waves on straighter hair, use Insight Styling Texturizing Sea Salt Spray.
Colour-treated hair
Insight Colored Hair Protective Shampoo, Insight Colored Hair Protective Conditioner and, weekly, Insight Colored Hair Protective Mask. Outdoors a lot? Add Insight Antioxidant Protective Hair Spray from the Antioxidant line.
Blonde, highlighted and grey hair
Add Insight Incolor Anti-Yellow Shampoo when yellow appears. Do not buy the Neutralizing Shampoo or Mask to keep your colour cool — they are post-colour pH acidifiers with no pigment.
Damaged, over-processed hair
This is what the Damaged Hair line is for: Insight Damaged Hair Restructurizing Shampoo, Insight Damaged Hair Restructurizing Conditioner, Insight Damaged Hair Restructurizing Mask weekly and Insight Damaged Hair Restructurizing Spray as a leave-in.
