Flat, fine hair
The brand's core competence. Build volume on damp hair with Root Pump ($27.00) or, if your hair drops by early afternoon, Root Pump Plus ($27.00). Rescue it later in the day with Powder Play ($26.50) — or Powder Play Lite if the original reads too matte on fine hair. Hold it with Spray & Play ($27.00), which stays brushable.
What to avoid: layering two damp-hair volumizers, and any hand paste. Both weigh fine hair down faster than they lift it.
Frizz
Smooth & Seal ($26.50) is the HEALTHY range's shine and anti-frizz spray — a finishing step on dry hair. Love Oil ($27.75) does a similar job with a few drops and no silicones. If the frizz is really breakage showing up as flyaway, Seal the Deal ($26.50) is the split-end lotion.
Humidity
Different problem, different product. Frizz is the hair's own texture; humidity is the weather undoing your style. Weather Proof ($26.50) is the only product in the range built for it, and it goes on last, over whatever hairspray you already used.
Heat damage
Protect Me ($25.25) is a 450°F hot-tool protection spray and the only dedicated heat protectant SexyHair makes. If you use a flat iron, a wand or a curling iron more than twice a week, buy this before you buy anything else in the range — it is the one product here that prevents damage instead of styling around it. Several other products carry heat protection as a secondary benefit; this filter shows all of them.
Dryness and breakage
Tri-Wheat Leave-In Conditioner ($24.50) on damp hair is the base layer, and it is the cheapest product in the range. Love Oil finishes. Be realistic about the ceiling: there is no SexyHair mask, deep conditioner or bond treatment on the current Canadian form, so a genuinely damaged head needs a treatment from another brand and SexyHair for the styling on top.
Curls that lose definition

Second-day hair

Hair that will not look undone
