Decide on shine first

Matte Clay gives the matte option; D:Struct and D:Sculpt are low shine; Extreme Hold is high shine.

Then choose control

D:Struct is the medium-hold choice. D:Sculpt, Matte Clay and Extreme Hold are described as strong hold; the names alone do not establish a strength ranking between them.

Build in small amounts

Spread a small amount between your palms, distribute evenly and add only where more control is needed. Follow the directions on the exact product.
