Wet Brush

Wet Brush makes the detangling brush that changed how people brush wet hair: thin, flexible IntelliFlex bristles that bend around knots instead of tearing through them, so brushing is faster and gentler with less breakage. ProHair carries the professional Wet Brush Pro range alongside the plant-based Go Green line and the Disney and Harry Potter character brushes.

Choose by what you want the brush to do. The Pro Detangler and Pro Paddle Detangler take out knots on wet or dry hair; the Flex Dry, Flex Dry Paddle, Epic Quick Dry and Go Green Speed Dry have open vents and heat-resistant HeatFlex bristles to speed up blow-drying; the 2.5-inch Pro round brushes finish a salon blowout; and the Shine Enhancer uses natural boar bristles to polish dry hair.

Which Wet Brush should I buy first?
Start with the Wet Brush Pro Detangler. Its thin, flexible IntelliFlex bristles work on every hair type, wet or dry, and the soft-touch EasyGrip handle stays secure in wet hands. If your hair is long or thick, choose the Pro Paddle Detangler instead — the wide paddle covers more hair per stroke. Add a Flex Dry later if you blow-dry regularly.
Can I use a Wet Brush on wet hair?
Yes — that is what it was designed for. Wet hair stretches and snaps easily, and IntelliFlex bristles flex around knots instead of pulling on them. Towel-dry gently, then brush from the ends upward in short strokes and move toward the roots as the knots release. The Shine Enhancer and Smooth Styler are finishing brushes and work best on dry hair.
Which Wet Brushes can I use with a blow-dryer?
Use the brushes with heat-resistant HeatFlex bristles: Pro Flex Dry, Pro Flex Dry Paddle, Epic Quick Dry, the Backbar Detangler, Go Green Speed Dry and the 2.5-inch Pro round brushes. Their open vents let air through, so you detangle and dry in one pass. The Go Green Treatment & Shine coconut oil brush is not for use with a dryer.
What is the difference between Pro and Original Detangler?
Both use IntelliFlex bristles on the same oval cushion, so they detangle the same way. The Pro version has a soft-touch EasyGrip handle designed for salon use; the Original shape is used for most character designs such as the Disney Princess and Harry Potter brushes. Choose by the design and grip you prefer.
Which Wet Brush is best for curly hair?
Detangle curls in the shower with conditioner using the Pro Detangling Comb, whose wide, wave-shaped teeth glide through without breaking up the curl as much as a brush, or the Go Green Curl Detangler, whose flexible fingers adjust to your curl type and help distribute stylers for definition. Avoid dry-brushing curls unless you want volume.
Why do some Wet Brush items show zero stock?
ProHair ships from our Canadian distributor's stock. When the distributor marks a colour or character as arriving soon, the page shows zero on hand but you can still order; it ships as soon as the new stock lands. Available items show a quantity and ship right away.
How do I clean a Wet Brush?
Pull out trapped hair after each use. Every week or two, wash the brush in warm water with a little shampoo, rinse, shake out the water and leave it to dry bristles-down. Rinse vented and AquaVent brushes after using masks or treatments. Replace the brush when bristle tips are missing or bent, because damaged tips snag hair.
